Why I Chose Conservation
I was never sure of what I wanted to do, and when I learned about the course and what conservation was, I realised I have unknowingly been doing it my whole life and wanted to learn about it more.
Career Aspirations
I have passions for multiple career routes, I like the practicality of metal conservation, but I also like the organisational qualities of archive conservation. This course is teaching me skills I hadn’t learned before and improved the ones I already have to allow me to reach my career aspirations.
Best University Experience
Doing my placement at Lincoln cathedral was fun because I worked in the archive alongside the curator to catalogue the archival information on historic donations. The donations dated between the 18th Century to World War Two.
