Why I chose conservation

I have always been interested in history, but I also enjoy practical skills like art and textiles. Being able to work on historical objects seemed like the perfect middle ground between the two.  

Career Aspirations

 I would like to have a career as a general conservator or in part of the larger historical sector. Archaeology for example is interesting from the experiences I’ve had during the course. I am also interested in the technology that can be used to help conserve objects such as RTI and would be interested in exploring that area as well. 

Best University Experience

Joining tabletop club during second and third year. The boardgame society is a very social and friendly group that welcomes and encourages all kinds of weirdness. I have made many of my university friends over a tabletop game and it is often the highlight of my week.
